Emaar Asset Usage Policy
Emaar’s position on the use of its assets — including Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall — in advertising, media and branding. Emaar’s policy, reproduced here in full.
The policy
Use of Emaar assets in advertising, media and branding
Prior approval is required
Use of Emaar Assets visuals including iconic buildings including Burj Khalifa, Dubai Mall etc. in any form of advertising, media or branding campaigns (including but not limited to CGI Videos, Photoshop images etc) is strictly prohibited. Prior approval of Emaar for any such use should be sought by writing at mediasales@emaar.ae and may be subject to applicable fees depending upon the scope of usage. Emaar reserves it right to accept or reject a Permit on a case-to-case basis.
Note for review: Emaar’s published Asset Usage Policy is this one paragraph and nothing else — it carries no definitions, no permitted-use list and no turnaround time. Nothing has been added here to fill it out.
